Olivia Tingen was very responsive to my situation and readily explained questions I had about medications and treatment. I was hooked up to the EEG machine for around 3 days. When the monitoring period was at an end, Olivia washed my hair twice on subsequent days. She was very thorough and careful, and even braided my hair at the end. She did a beautiful job and made me feel so much better and more human.

In addition, my eldest sister died in the MSICU right here at REX. I was devastated by this and needed comforting. Olivia was there for me in every way. She checked on me, hugged me, and offered consolation each time she saw me. Even after she rotated to another floor the next day, she came by on her break to see how I was coping. She is an exceptional person and a shining example of her profession. My stay here at REX was enhanced in so many ways by her attentive care.
