Maria Chiu is not only highly skilled in her duties but also able to sense when something is wrong beyond what a person may show on their face or in their expression. She knew right away that I was dealing with more than just the physical pain that brought me to the hospital.

I believe she has a special gift, and her exceptional care was deeply appreciated. She truly helped lift me out of a very dark place simply by asking questions and listening. She gave me honest opinions and didn’t just tell me what she thought I wanted to hear. She brought peace to my mind before even addressing my physical pain.

Maria then worked to relieve my severe back pain. She found a way to administer my medication so that it would start working sooner, instead of having to wait 30 minutes to an hour after the injection. She gently covered me with warm blankets and kept me comfortable until I fell asleep. That was my first full night of sleep in weeks.

I am incredibly grateful and impressed with her care. Maria deserves recognition for the comfort, compassion, and professionalism she brings to her patients.
