Over the years here at Baptist, Shannon has served in multiple leadership roles, each time bringing the same unwavering commitment to patients, the team, and the organization. In her current role as an informatics nurse, she is truly an integral part of our team, so much so that it is hard to imagine how we would function without her. Quite simply, there is no one else who could step in and fill her shoes.

She is an extraordinary resource, with what can only be described as a photographic memory. She doesn’t just know our policies as they stand today; she understands their evolution, their history, and the context behind them. This depth of knowledge allows her to guide teams through complex situations with clarity and confidence.

Her influence reaches far beyond any one department. She is deeply respected across the hospital, a trusted voice whose perspective carries weight because it is always grounded in sound judgment and genuine care. She is a staunch advocate for both patients and nurses, consistently ensuring that decisions reflect what is right, safe, and compassionate.
