During one of the most difficult times for our family, Donver provided exceptional care, patience and kindness that truly went above and beyond expectations.
My mother-in-law was admitted to the ICU with a kidney blockage that turned into sepsis. It was touch-and-go for the better part of two weeks.
One Friday I worked from her room all day, and Donver was her nurse. Every time he came in even if she wasn't awake he spoke to her by name and treated her with such care and compassion.
When he came in the first time to clean her up after a bowel movement, he was singing to her. She proceeded to need a full clean-up and bed linen change two more times that day.
By Friday evening, he was leading us in a praise and worship song. As believers, this was such a special moment for my eldest daughter and me to be a part of.
The next day we were able to successfully extubate her after being on the vent for two weeks. Donver always remained positive, optimistic, and patient through it all.
He is an incredible nurse and human, and our family was blessed to have him part of Nana's journey and recovery.

This man is an Angel! This man is a Godsend.
I have never experienced care that this young man has given to my wife. She has spent the last five years in and out of the hospitals, except for this last time, spending days in ICU, then eventually a few more days up in hospice.
His personal demeanor is outstanding. He was in the room when the hospice nurse came to talk to us about hospice, telling her she can eat what she wants. My wife said I want a Lobster dinner and guess what for dinner that night he personally had a lobster dinner delivered to her room.
We love him so much!

Donver went above and beyond to care for my best friend's mother. He made sure her final days were full of love, comfort, and anything she could want.
Some people are meant to be nurses, and he is one of them!
