I am honored to recognize Kendall for the extraordinary, compassionate care he provided to a patient during one of the most vulnerable and heartbreaking times in the patient’s life.

He cared for a young patient who was approaching the end of life. Throughout this difficult journey, he demonstrated what it truly means to be a nurse—not only in clinical expertise but in heart, presence, and advocacy.
