I would like to nominate Nurse Sophia for the DAISY Award because the care and compassion she has shown my daughter and our family has been truly unforgettable. Having your child in the hospital is one of the scariest and most emotional experiences a parent can go through, but Sophia made us feel supported from the moment she walked into the room. She treated my daughter with so much patience, gentleness, and genuine love. She never made us feel like "just another patient". What stood out to me the most was how deeply she cared not only about her medical needs but also about her emotions. She showed kindness during moments we felt overwhelmed, and her calm, caring presence brought so much comfort during a difficult time.
