Our family will be forever grateful for Nathan going above and beyond for us.
Nathan Arndt has been my mother's nurse since her admission to the ICU at Seton Wilco on Tuesday. I cannot begin singing his praises in a loud enough voice. He has been phenomenal, not just in direct care, but also in coordinating her care and all the doctors involved.
My mama has stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized to her brain. We have dealt with so many doctors, nurses, and clinics in the past years, and Nathan is a real standout. He made sure she wasn’t poked and prodded (most of her veins are stripped from treatments, and IVs are nearly impossible). Nathan is a problem solver in the best possible way. They were able to access her chemo port for MRI contrast with just a simple call from Nathan to imaging.
Furthermore, he made her care a priority so much so that he took her over to Texas Oncology to get Radiation, when no one else would or could do it. The radiation reduced the size of her tumors and the swelling in her brain. He absolutely saved her life. Our family will be forever grateful for Nathan going above and beyond for us.
