My mom has pancreatic cancer, and our family had to make the difficult decision to have her go on hospice. My mom has started to decline over the last few days, and she needs assistance with multiple activities, including toileting and walking. During this time, Isabella has been wonderful. She checks up on us frequently and has helped us with everything my mom needed. She went above and beyond to reorganize my mom’s bed even though she was very busy. I am very grateful that my mom had Isabella as her nurse.

I would like to send a special and heartfelt thank you to Nurse Isabella. Wow, what can I say? Isabella was not even my assigned nurse, yet she saw me. I didn't say a word, but she saw me in need while she was patiently caring for her own patient. She asked me if I was ok. I was being discharged the next day and wanted to speak to my doctor. I previously shared this with my nurse. When I asked her (my nurse) if she had contacted my doctor, she admitted that she didn't because of her attention to others. Isabella jumped in and sent a message to my doctor, all while providing excellent service to my neighbor. Later that afternoon, she then followed up by sending another detailed message to my doctor detailing the specifics of the request. Within an hour, my doctor physically handed the letter I needed. Thanks to Isabella, who went above and beyond her call of duty, I was able to obtain the specific document I needed to ensure the specific supports I would need to provide to my employer. She gave me the peace of mind I needed. She was not obligated; her humanity and kindness inspired me to continue making a difference in the world. Isabella, you are truly an inspiration and a truly kind soul. I thank you for seeing me!

After a far less than pleasant stay in the emergency room, Isabella was beyond pleasant. She helped me far more than was required, always with concern, empathy, and a smile when needed most. I commend her, thank her, and appreciate her.
