I recently visited the Cobb/Douglas Health Department’s Adult Health Clinic, and I feel it’s important to share the impact Kristen had on my experience.

Walking in, I was genuinely scared and overwhelmed. I didn’t know what to expect, and the anxiety of the situation was heavy. But the moment I met Kristen, that fear started to fade. She had a calming presence that immediately made me feel safe, understood, and not alone in what I was going through.

Throughout the entire visit, Kristen was exceptionally informative and knowledgeable. She explained every step, every option, and every detail in a way that brought clarity instead of confusion. What stood out even more was how she delivered that information—with genuine compassion. It wasn’t just her expertise that helped me, but the way she spoke to me, reassured me, and made sure I felt comfortable before moving forward with anything.

Kristen treated me with a level of care that felt personal and sincere. She didn’t rush me, didn’t brush off my concerns, and never made me feel judged. Instead, she made me feel supported, valued, and truly cared for. That kind of care is rare, and it meant more than she may realize.

By the time I left, I felt a sense of relief and confidence that was the complete opposite of how I felt walking in. Kristen played a huge role in that transformation. She turned what could have been a frightening and stressful experience into one where I felt comforted and taken care of every step of the way.
