Tayla made this experience far more casual feeling than I could ever have asked for, helping me feel more human and positive about the future.
I suffered a spinal cord injury while swimming, rendering me quadriplegic. During this scary period of my life, jumping from hospital to hospital between Tasmania and Melbourne, the care I received from Tayla at the LGH was of the highest quality and the most grounding, reassuring support I could've asked for.

While requiring assistance with things I never thought I would have to ask for (eating, bathroom tasks, even just getting out of bed), Tayla made this experience far more casual feeling than I could ever have asked for, helping me feel more human and positive about the future.

Her assistance with training my support team as well for discharge has also left a long-lasting impact, with her name still being brought up a month or two post-discharge. Tayla is highly deserving of this award and recognition for the effort and passion she puts into her work. I'm extremely grateful.
