The patient was very uncomfortable with the idea of having her hair cut in a public barber shop after her cancer diagnosis. Bri noticed how difficult this was for her and simply said, "Let's do it now." She came back and shaved Maria's head herself, allowing her to go through such a personal and emotional moment in the comfort and privacy of her hospital room.

 It was all the patient and her husband talked about, and it brought tears to my eyes. She created a lasting memory through an extraordinary act of compassion.

The following night, Bri went even further. She purchased a beautiful hat with her own money, placed it in a gift bag, and gave it to the patient. Her compassion made a tremendous difference and helped her feel at ease during an incredibly difficult time. I've never seen anything like it.
