Everyone was wonderful, but Stephen on the 5th at Centennial Heart was over the top! This young man just gets it. He is engaging, helpful, encouraging, empathetic... Stephen is the full package. He exemplifies the foundation of nursing - service- his servant's heart and kindness are amazing. He was our night shift nurse for 3 nights, and we are so thankful. He kept us informed, cared about our needs and concerns, and was so encouraging to my husband after his quadruple bypass. He engaged, and we felt like family before we were discharged. We felt secure, safe, and happy on the morning of our first night with Stephen whenever he said, "I'm leaving now, but I'll see you tonight..." And he meant it! He laughed and joked with my husband, putting him at ease during a very difficult time. He was also very informative and kept us informed. Stephen is a rockstar - and a keeper. CMC is very blessed to have this young nurse on staff. He exemplifies your mission with every touch.
