Kaylea has gone out of her way to make me comfortable and meet my needs. I’m an older person, and I have been in the hospital many times in my life. I’ve never seen anyone as concerned about her patients and coworkers. She and I were talking about my bed linens being changed, and that she would change them for me.

I know Kaylea has shown she has a heart of gold for her patients and coworkers, and that has really touched my heart. To me, that means more than anything for a health care worker to show compassion because that makes their patients feel more protected. Over my long stay, Kaylea has been a concerned nurse every time. She is professional and confident, and when a nurse has all the pressure of her job going on and a heart of gold and literally cares for people, that’s the biggest reward you can have.

Kaylea pays attention to her job and thrives on going the extra mile for her patients and coworkers.
