I am a volunteer at John Muir Hospital, so I am fortunate enough to be around all the incredible nurses.

Unfortunately, I had a hereditary heart condition that required triple bypass surgery. The doctors were absolutely amazing in getting me through surgery, but I truly wanted to thank Ashley Harris for taking care of me during my stay in the ICU.

I hope you can imagine how scary those first few days were for my family and me. The nights seemed to be the toughest for me, and Ashley was there with a big smile on her face and provided the absolute best care. She walked me through each medication that she was providing and what the next day would look like.

John Muir is so lucky to have such incredible nurses like Ashley Harris. Her dedication to each patient's well-being and care goes above and beyond the call of duty. I am so blessed to have had her as my nurse, and I thank God every day for her care.
