Abigail took care of me two nights while I was at the hospital over a four day period for bronchitis and a glucose level that was very high. She demonstrated skills and compassion that went above the normal practice. She was exacting in her duties, proficient, kind, and caring, but what stood out was her genuine love for her profession and her dedication to doing everything to perfection. Her care for my well-being went above and beyond. The other nurses were very, very caring, but this nurse and her skills were the shining stars.
During our conversations, I asked her how long she had been a nurse and she told me I believe it was less than a year. I was astounded; I told her she already exemplified the traits of a great nurse. Abigail deserves to be recognized for truly representing her profession at the highest level. She's headed up the ladder!
