I never in my life imagined having to come and watch over my mother as she is fighting to survive sepsis. All of the nurses have been amazing! The doctors and respiratory therapists as well! However, there are two nurses that went way, way beyond what I could have hoped for. Abraham was one of the first night shift nurses to tend to my mother who was not expected to last through the evening. I was distraught. Abraham calmed me by assuring me that he would attend to her every need. That night he answered every call I made throughout the evening till morning, often encouraging me to rest. When I came in the next morning, Abraham had combed my mother’s hair so beautifully, he changed her, and had aromatherapy as well as calm music in her room through the TV. Abraham’s compassion for my mother gave me a feeling of hope and love. Thank you!
