Adam was a true blessing during my grandfather's final days/hours! When I first called in, Adam was on shift. He answered my questions and assured me I was not a bother to him. He happened to be the one there during the final hours, and looking back, I am so grateful for that! Adam was very informative and helpful. He was so personable, pleasant, and caring. While he is still fairly new to nursing, you would never be able to tell if we hadn't asked! He is very passionate about his job, and his love for the patients he cares for is something we need more of in health care. I watched him interact with my grandfather in a way that I knew he genuinely cared. We asked questions about the hospital, the helicopters flying out, and what different things meant. He answered every question I had to the best of his ability, and he answered some questions multiple times because I had to ask several times. Adam talked to my grandfather like he was family, even though he was unresponsive. He asked if we needed anything every time he left the room. He just truly made us feel like we were welcome and never a bother. Down to the last breaths and finishing our time at the hospital, Adam did everything to help guide us. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this gentleman. There needs to be more nurses like Adam!
