Adam Hine, RN

There were so many occasions he was very helpful to my husband after knee surgery. My husband was in severe pain; Adam came into his room, took hold of my husband's hand, and talked with him. He had him take deep breaths and really worked him through the pain. He got him up, set him in recliner and readjusted his leg that had surgery, and immediately the pain eased. Adam is just a very great nurse in every respect. He's an ideal example of what “a nurse is” – Kind, compassionate, helpful, and helps the patient work toward independence again after surgery; a person I would like a member of my family to be like if they were the nurse. God's Angel here on Earth. VA is blessed to have all the nurses on the therapy ward.
