My husband was recently in the hospital for his 3rd stay and operation within one month. After his third operation for amputation of his leg, he became listless, not responding well to conversation, delirious and cold and clammy to the touch. When Adel came on her shift she took charge professionally. She got the doctor on the floor to attend to him, called his other two doctors and in general got the ball rolling. After this particular evening, she was on duty again and attended to his every need, even contacting a supervisor about putting a new drain tube in place. She worked tirelessly trying to find a vein from the many that had collapsed. Adel was extremely knowledgeable and alert to any changes. She kept me abreast of the changes by explaining what was going on, even if we didn't understand the doctor, she helped with that also. We feel like Adel saved my husband that night.
