This nurse has so much compassion for the patients she cares for. Most recently she worked hard to ensure that a patient who was not stable for discharge would be able to watch his wife's funeral, which was being held in California. She worked with pastoral care to enlist a chaplain to sit with the patient during the funeral and was able to make sure the patient could FaceTime with family. This small thing made a huge difference for this patient. Her passion for the work she does and her willingness to go that extra step is who she is.
