Bimpe was one of two brilliant midwives who helped me through my delivery. Bimpe was always smiling at me whenever she caught my eye, reassuring me and encouraging me. Every time I was feeling demoralized, in pain, vomiting, etc her kindness and compassion were remarkable. I work in healthcare myself and know how important these qualities are for patients and there was something very special about Bimpe and her bedside manner that really set her apart from others.

She listened to my experience before she took over my care and apologized where she could for what I found distressing. I felt so safe and cared for by her and feel very lucky to have a lovely and competent midwife as part of my birthing team. She has made me realise the power of a smile which I will take forward to use on my own patients.
