Mrs. Ajayi was awarded the DAISY Award after receiving several letters of nomination and being a model nurse for Gotham Health. One nomination stated that during the beginning of COVID, Mrs. Ajayi would comfort her by praying with her before they started their shift. This calmed her anxieties and allowed the team member to be able to work in the very dangerous and unknown environment of COVID.
