My aunt was hit by a car while crossing a street after her shift. Adrian, who had just completed a 12-hour shift in the ED, witnessed the accident. As a trauma nurse with the proper skills and training, Adrian quickly responded by running to my aunt's side, stabilizing herc-spine, and controlling the bleeding from her head. Fortunately, my aunt was immediately brought to the ER and was treated for her injuries. She is currently rehabilitating and seems to be making an amazing recovery. Without Adrian's quick response, the severity of my aunt's injuries could have been much worse. My family and I are incredibly grateful to Adrian and all the staff that cared for my aunt in her time of need.
Asa fellow ED nurse, I have also had the opportunity to know Adrian as a co-worker in our Emergency Room. Not only have I witnessed Adrian's excellent nursing skills and compassion for patients firsthand, but I have also recognized his great skill and knowledge as one of my trauma preceptors. Adrian is absolutely a vital asset to ourEmergencyteam/family.
