He shared comforting news with me and treated me like a human being with dignity.
When I first arrived to Unit 2 after multiple days in solitary confinement, Adrian Menendez, RN was one of the first people to speak with me. He shared comforting news with me and treated me like a human being with dignity. He also mentioned that the RNs in Legacy are meant to be the "advocate" for the patient. I can tell after several days of working with him and observing him that Adrian is a GEM, a saint, and a scholar. Thank you Adrian and thank you Legacy for continuing to provide such good service.

I had a pretty bad time at Legacy Emanuel ER before I was transferred here. The nurses noticed all my bruises and took pictures for my file without me even having to ask. They made me feel like a human being instead of the monster I feel like. Adrian was super busy (like overworked busy) but he always made time for me. They made me feel cared for and understood. Thank you for reminding me that there are good people out there.
