Social Services was having a conversation with an Elder. Within that conversation, the Elder expressed the gratefulness of how much he enjoys the extra time that Adwoa Sefa gives him. He expressed how she encourages him through nightly prayer every night when she is working. He stated that she holds his hands, and her gentle voice reminds him of his nightly prayers with his mother. The Elder gratefully stated that single act of kindness takes away all the stress and troubles that he may have faced for the day! This encounter with the Elder and his experience with Adwoa shows unspeakable love and kindness that goes deeper than Adwoa's role and title. I am thankful to know that the Elders have someone of Adwoa's character to provide daily care for the residents of YK Elders Home.
