I would like to recognize Aicha for their exceptional dedication and devotion as it relates to Veteran care at CMCVAMC. Aicha displays a natural passion for their job as they give meticulous care and attention to detail as they dispense medications, monitor and record Veteran vital signs, and provide emotional support when needed. While caring for veterans with a wide range of physical needs and conditions, this nurse manages to use encouraging words to help motivate and uplift the spirits of the veterans. This nurse reminds each patient that it is an honor and a privilege for them to serve us Vets. With their heartfelt words, they leave and go on to provide the same excellent service to the next Veteran. This nurse's motivation and work habits prove their service is the rule by which they live and are not an exception.

I met this wonderful nurse on a Thursday. What really impressed me was their attention. I am in a great deal of pain and this nurse made sure that I received the proper care, meds, and meals. This nurse has been a friend in the short time I have known them. This young nurse has a real gift and a heart for our Veterans.
