Alejandro Jimenez

Alejandro is very attentive and professional to patients and families. He identified an abnormal heart rhythm on the first clinical day in the PACU unit. He was casually looking at the monitor while in the nurse's station and quickly identified the ST segment was elevated on a patient's heart rhythm. This led multiple staff on the unit to assess the patient and obtain an EKG, which found that the patient was experiencing a mild heart attack. When praised for his excellent attention to detail and collaboration, Alejandro remains humbled. He was a positive role model to all of us at that time and continues to be in clinical, simulations, and labs.
