He’s a very caring and awesome young man. I remember him from a previous visit where my husband was his patient. Always willing to help with whatever was needed. When he came to my husband’s bedside, he was always respectful and polite; "if there’s anything you need, just let me know." When I asked to see the doctor, he said I’ll take care of it. When he came back and told me that he did, I knew he did what I asked because it popped up on my portal. One particular time before we were being discharged, my daughter said that someone should check his arm because he had a problem with his IV. Before I could get out of the chair, he came in the door and asked my husband if he could check his arm. I jokingly asked are you a mind reader he said, "No, why?" I said because I was just about to ask you to check it. He said the swelling had gone down and his arm was fine I said thank you. He said you’re welcome. Is there anything else I can help you with? I had just told him earlier I would nominate him for a DAISY Award. My daughter received one. She lives in NC, and I didn’t know if they had it here. While waiting to get on the elevator, I saw it on the wall, and I asked his last name. I told him I’m nominating you. He’s very humble, and God knows I appreciated all he did during my husband’s stay. I told him so.
