I am writing to express my profound admiration for Alena, a PACU nurse at St. Vincent's. Her exceptional dedication to patient care is truly commendable. Alena consistently goes above and beyond, providing not only expert medical attention but also genuine compassion that significantly eases the post-operative experience for patients.

My mother was fortunate enough to be under Alena's care, and her professionalism and kindness left an indelible mark on her, and by way, myself as well. She demonstrated an unparalleled level of expertise, grace, and empathy. Ensuring a smooth transition from surgery to recovery solely through her work. Her ability to communicate medical & recovery information in a clear and loving manner reassured us during a vulnerable time. The surgery was a work on the physical aspect. But Alena’s care was a work on the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Something they don’t seem to teach them all these days.

What sets Alena apart is her unwavering commitment to patient well-being. She not only attended to my mother's physical needs but also took the time to address any concerns, providing emotional support that greatly contributed to my overall comfort. Her genuine and caring approach created the type of healing environment my mother could only have prayed for.
