Alex has been an RN since 2008. He has worked in the TRMC ED and also the MICU transport. In the years Alex has worked in the Cath lab he has grown professionally. Along with being the most versatile employee in the CCL, Alex has become a resource person in the lab and has mentored techs, nurses, and even cardiac fellows. He always considers patient safety and has made that the foundation for staff training.

Alex is also an excellent problem solver and works well with other departments to handle any issues in the lab during the day. He has often found the solution before I am even aware there was an issue. Alex is always flexible with his schedule (both staff and on-call) and makes the department a priority. Alex is well respected by the physicians and the other Cath Lab staff and was recently made the Clinical Coordinator of Cardiovascular Services. He is an Asset to the Cath Lab, the patients he serves, and Trinitas. Alex is an example of what a DAISY Nurse exemplifies.
