During my stay with my son, Alex was our night nurse. We had a successful procedure, and he seemed to be recovering well. As we were getting discharged, I noticed his demeanor change and he was in obvious pain that was more than what I would have expected. Alex was beyond accommodating, checking on me and my son constantly. The doctors wanted to discharge us, but I knew something was wrong. She hugged me and reassured me she would do everything she could to help me. After numerous calls and conversations with the doctors, she helped advocate for my son and ultimately got another doctor to reassess him and agree that something was wrong. Thanks to her my son got the care that he needed, and when he had a reoccurrence of the same condition, we were able to get him the procedure again. I owe her everything, as without her help, my son would have been sent home sick. You have a wonderful nurse on staff!
