Then she very gently combed out all of the tangles and put my hair in 2 cute little Princess Leah buns before releasing me to the 5th floor.
This nurse went above and beyond. Keeping my family notified twice daily of my condition. While I was in an induced coma having severe seizures she kept me safe from harming myself with gloves, bumpers, etc. The morning I was ready to be moved upstairs she came in and said, "okay you look like a troll sweetie and I'm not sending you upstairs looking like you do." She knew I was sensitive to the wipes so from home she had brought a special hypoallergenic makeup remover and proceeded to clean all the eyeliner I had everywhere except where it should have been. Then she spent an hour or more and several shower caps to get all the glue out of my hair from the EEG electrodes that had been glued there for 4 days. Then she very gently combed out all of the tangles and put my hair in 2 cute little Princess Leah buns before releasing me to the 5th floor. She went so far above in her compassion and care that it was incredible. I have spent a lot of time in hospitals due to a rare disease called Porphyria, and this lady was hands down 1000 times above normal care.
