Caring for our newborn babies is an incredible specialty that requires patience, compassion, kindness, and a special skill set that our nurses provide. Alexandria Dougherty is one of those incredible nurses. Ms. Dougherty was nominated by a patient’s family who expressed their deep appreciation for all the love and care Ms. Dougherty provided to their baby but also to them. She kept them updated from following them from birth to baby's discharge home. The family was overwhelmed by Ms. Dougherty’s calming demeanor in a very difficult situation.
