Words cannot describe how grateful I was to have Alexis for two days. She was there for me from the start; waiting for me as I came up from the Emergency Department. When she started talking to me you could tell she had a bubbly personality and wanted to be here. She did not miss a beat as she hooked me up to the monitors and rechecked my blood pressure. As I was getting comfortable, she kept asking me if I needed anything else, which made me feel more at ease. She explained to me why I was taking certain medications and what they were for. I definitely saw that she took her hourly rounding to heart. She would pop in and say "Hi" so often, I did not need to use my call light. Thank you, Alexis, for doing a job well done.
