I cannot name one incident, as there were many times where Alyssa showed her kindness and professionalism.
I had balance issues so when I used the call button she was always prompt and would hold on to me while we walked to the bathroom. There she would make sure I was in the proper position, and then would give me some privacy. Whenever she was in the room, she would talk to me in a respectful and kind way telling me what was going on or just "chit chat". When I was in an improper position, she would bring in someone and they would help me move.
On the day I was discharged, she used her personal phone to contact my brother, as the other phones were not working properly. She had to make a bunch of calls to reach him, as there were problems with his phone service. Several hours after her shift ended Alyssa also called my brother to check on me.
I had great service from several employees but hers was a "cut above" everyone else. My brother commented to me that she seemed very professional and kind. Alyssa does the hospital proud.
