Amanda Britt was always kind and attentive. She always tried to make sure my dad was as comfortable as possible. Then came the day Dad became very upset and asked to let him pass. I was so upset but Amanda stayed calm and comforting. She quickly called counselors to help me and guide me through the process to get him into hospice. While I was gone she went in and explained to Dad that I had gone to sign the papers to honor his wishes. When I returned to inform Dad, I found him calm because she was so thoughtful to have already explained everything to him. She found out and wrote down the room that he was being transferred to on the hospice wing Dad was only in hospice for one day until he passed. I am so grateful for Amanda. I really don’t know how I could’ve made it through the time Dad was on the E wing without her. Especially, the day leading up to his being transferred to hospice. All of the nurses were really kind and caring but Amanda went above and beyond.
