Amanda was caring and well-informed and helped me stay positive through a hard chapter of a long-running medical ordeal.
This is an honor to speak of Amanda Knight. From the moment she enters the room, it is with a kind and loving attitude. She is kind and loving the entire time. Every day, every time she entered the room, it was and is with a loving smile. That in itself is a joy to each of us. I feel like she is my friend. She always asked what she could do to help and always showed compassion and love, with her job coming first. I have found my stay here to be one I will remember my entire life. I am very thankful and very appreciative.

Amanda took care in explaining what she would be doing and why. She explained why I would not be able to shower but went over and above getting me the necessary cleaning tools and helped me through the whole process. Amanda never lost temper and remembered whatever I asked for and made sure I was taken care of if she couldn't. I am from Virginia and this hospital took care of my every need.

My husband had major back surgery, and on day three after his surgery, he was having a very hard day. He had a lot of pain, and his anxiety was high. His emotions were all over the place. Amanda recognized where he was with everything. She came in, sat down, and asked what she could do for him. She never made him feel he was taking up her time or that his feelings and anxieties were unimportant. She listened and gave great insight. It helped him calm down and relax. For me, it was caring for a patient above and beyond. She was always checking in on him and me. She was never in a hurry, even though she had other patients.

Amanda is an incredible nurse. Amanda thoroughly explained everything she did. I feel she demonstrated an extraordinary time educating me on everything she was doing. If I was not feeling well regarding my left knee, Amanda told me what my best option was for resolving the issue. Especially the pain issue. She was always especially pleasant and hospitable whenever she came into the room. I always felt relaxed and confident whenever I talked to her and could tell her nursing experience. I feel extremely blessed to have Amanda as my nurse and for her hard work.
