Amanda became our Director in October 2021 and came at a time when our spirits were down. We had been working hard through the Pandemic and had lost a lot of team members without having new team members to take their place. Amanda wanted to know what we needed and we told her we needed HELP!!! She has done that. She has let us know that she is right here with us and will jump in to help out and even take an assignment if needed. During the Winter Weather in January, all but one night Nurse had called out. She made some calls and got some help and came in herself for 2 night time shifts and took a patient assignment. She has also worked very hard and diligently in hiring new staff and ensuring that they get the training and support that is needed when taking on a new role.

Amanda is an exceptional leader, she is professional, kind, and loving. She always makes sure her staff feel welcomed and like they are at home. She goes above and beyond to answer questions and do what is in the best interest of the unit as a whole, as well as still advocating for her nursing staff. I have felt welcomed since my first day here!
