Amanda Nelson 2024, RN

Amanda is an amazing RN! We had her for several days in a row during a time when my P was either going to stay in bed and die or get up and begin the work of improving his breathing. The family was not communicating well with the hospitalist, and physical and occupational therapists did not come often. She went above and beyond to get my P moving and help us get a new hospitalist. She stayed on top of his constipation and preventative measures for his nighttime delirium. She was present, engaged, and worked hard to keep him moving in the right direction. I can't praise her enough for not allowing him to stay in bed. She went the extra mile with him, and he’s here today because of her efforts!
