Amanda has received nothing but praise from coworkers. She wears many hats and is not afraid to step up in any way, often by seeing a community need and taking the initiative.

Always does what’s best for the patient. In fact, patients have shared how delightful and compassionate this person is and how grateful they were to be in her care."

A coworker noted this person does it all with a positive “can do” approach to healthcare that is greatly appreciated by other staff and providers as well. They did not hesitate to switch gears to work in the respiratory clinic and COVID testing when the need arose.

Another employee noted this person proactively reaches out to nursing homes to see what they can do to help staff and their patients. They also do great with educating nursing home staff. They are passionate about increasing access to healthcare, especially to the underserved and those with limited resources.

Amanda has played a vital role in the success of our Mobile Integrated Health program, which had to pivot to focus on COVID-related needs. Without them, the program could not run as smoothly as it does. We are very lucky to have someone comfortable enough to go into homes and bring care to these patients, giving them the attention they need for health assessments, as well as assessing their quality of life and providing social interaction. This person has a way with patients that makes them comfortable but also engaged in their care. They seem to have a special way to reach patients that are sometimes difficult for others to connect with. This is an expansion of the care our nominee already provides through their nursing home visits and home visits.
