There were three children who came into the EC via ambulance who were in an unsafe living environment in foster care. The children and their clothes were soiled and beyond saving. Amber took it upon herself to gather funds from other EC staff and went to the store and bought the children clothing, socks, and underwear using her own money and the money donated by other EC personnel. She saw someone in need and went above and beyond to help them. The children were so surprised and excited about their new clothing. They could not believe that a stranger would do such a nice thing for them. It's because of nurses and staff like Amber that our EC can provide such amazing care and compassion to the many people that we serve. Thank you, Amber and all of the EC staff!
