Our daughter was in a serious car accident suffering a broken pelvis, shattered ankle, broken back and a concussion. She was terrified to leave her bed but especially to use a commode when her catheter was removed. It may not seem like much, but the compassion and kindness that Amber and her aide showed her when they helped her get out of bed for the first time to use the commode was heartwarming. Our daughter has had countless problems throughout her life and has very little confidence and receives very few compliments. Amber kept telling our daughter what a great job she was doing. It made her smile. Amber also went through our daughter's ER records to explain to me the extent of her injuries after she had already been there for 4 days. I had no idea what her injuries were. Nobody else had taken the time to explain that to us.
