Our 22-year-old son was diagnosed with epilepsy approximately 7 or 8 months ago after having two seizures. However, he has not had any recurrences until now. He was taken to the Emergency Department at St. Mary’s Healthcare, where we were fortunate enough to have a great staff of nurses. Amber Morris was a godsend. She was attentive, kind, genuinely caring, slow with her explanations, and did all this with a smile. She was perfect and exactly what our family needed. It’s staff like her that really can make or break the community’s opinion of a hospital. We could not be happier with the care that Amber and the physician provided us. With two uneasy parents asking a lot of questions about their son, a seizure patient, she handled his care like a veteran. I want nothing more than to have Amber understand how much gratitude we have for her effort today. She really, really was incredible. Amber, you are a rockstar!
