I visited the ER after trying to deal with a stomach bug at home for 2 days I ended up in the ER due to being dehydrated. I typically don't like to visit the ER because I feel other patients have more pertinent issues than myself. Amber was very attentive to my concerns, she had very welcoming bedside manners and assured me that my questions or concerns were not invalid. I was recently talking to a family member about how Amber had so kindly treated me, and they reminded me of the DAISY Award that this hospital offers, and I immediately knew Amber was most deserving of it. Amber had a smile on her face every time she entered my room, and she maintained small talk while also attending to my basic needs required for testing to make sure that it was just a stomach bug. I felt that she exceeded all expectations and made sure that all of my needs were met and I was comfortable. She is a very kindhearted person, and I wish there were more nurses like her!
