Amy was the welcoming nurse for my husband during his stay at AdventHealth Daytona Beach Hospital. We were arriving on short notice from your Emergency Room where he was diagnosed with elevated levels of CO2. Little did we know that this would be the start of an amazing experience.
Amy's welcoming was clear, but also clear was her devotion to other patients. She shortly helped him feel comfortable and left. But quickly she returned to ensure that we were settled. After returning she double-checked his medical equipment, and then to my happy amazement made sure that his TV was working. Thank you, this greatly improved my husband's attitude and morale.
What ensued after this was an incredible set of nursing skills. Whether these were taught or natural, you have an employee who is an extraordinary talented nurse. Amy is always upbeat, encouraging, knowledgeable, quick to respond, always anticipated needs, and best of all makes the patient feel better through humor and uplifting small talk. She gives her all to her job. This super professional is the best we have ever known!
