Amy goes above and beyond the general "run-of-the-mill" nurse. She makes you feel like you can get through this. Amy doesn't tolerate complaining (me either). Because your treatments are what they are, and we can't do anything about it! But she talks with you and comforts you when you are sad. Amy is thoughtful of your emotional feelings. She understands everything you say and do. If you don't understand what you are feeling, SHE understands why you would feel that way.

Amy never makes me wait. She is AWESOME! She takes time, right there - on the spot, to listen and talk to you. She never makes you wait and wait and wait. She doesn't make you feel like everyone else is important except you! Amy is always quick to give a hug. It makes me think, "Gosh, we have good nurses up here." I actually changed "Good" to "GREAT"! They all go beyond to come in SO early every day and stay late EVERY DAY!
