Amy has made an incredible impact on our mindset and learning experience. Despite the challenges of CHA 1, her dedication to our success created an enjoyable and supportive environment in her classes. She goes beyond the curriculum, teaching us not only how to excel in our nursing careers but also how to protect ourselves throughout our careers. Her unique and thoughtful approach to teaching has left a lasting impression on all of us, and I can’t emphasize that enough!

I make sure to tell first and second semesters all about her and to make sure she is their instructor because she is simply amazing! She often brought little items to class the day before exams for us, turning what could be a stressful time into a fun and supportive experience. From "injection" pens to positive nursing stickers and even "blood bags and plasma" that were fruit punch and apple juice, her creativity added a touch of humor to our preparation. Her kindness and compassion, coupled with these thoughtful gestures, make her a standout instructor, and I want to recognize her for the positive influence she has had on each student.
