Amy has been a dedicated employee of the child/adolescent partial program for many years and shows immense compassion, care, and kindness to all patients, family members of patients and staff. She goes above and beyond to provide care to all the kids in the program. The task of working with children in psychiatric distress is not an easy task and Amy demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and patience. She has on multiple occasions gone above and beyond for patients, especially during the holidays, to help them. She has utilized resources to provide for patients who are in desperate need and has given them clothing, toys, blankets and most important, her attention to their needs and listens to them in their time of need. She also helps teach life skills to children that they will utilize the rest of their lives. Amy demonstrates these skills day in and day out. She not only helps and attends to patient's needs; she demonstrates great leadership skills to her team. She is able to problem solve quickly, listens to her staff and adapts to their needs and is constantly motivating her team in a positive and friendly way.
