Amy Phillips, LPN

There is no truer definition of an excellent, caring, skilled, and Godly nurse than Amy. As I work alongside her it is not hard to see the compassion that Amy carries for her patients and team members. Amy works through emergencies with a calmness and efficiency that only comes from serving others for over 30 years. Amy has a gentle touch and manner with her patients and helps to calm their nerves in the moments that are most scary to them. Amy is one that you can always count on to be there to help you through any situation with a smile and encouraging words. It is easy to find negativity in the world, but you will not find that in Amy. I will always admire Amy for the small moments she takes to read a devotion before going and providing extraordinary patient care. Amy is a true asset to the ED, and a better or more compassionate nurse would be hard to find.
