On Friday my hearing aid went out. My family could not come. I called friends without results. I was upset, stomach not feeling well. All attempts failed. On Sunday, Nurse Amy ordered lunch from outside the hospital. Along with lunch, Amy went that extra mile, took a chance, and ordered 312 batteries with her lunch, which came from outside the hospital. Much to our surprise, the 312 batteries came with her lunch. She refused payment for them. She explained she would keep them on hand for the next time a patient needed 312. We need more nurses like Amy.
